Yes, as defined by the SEC, you must be an accredited investor to invest with Honest Capital.
Our minimum investment is $100,000 per project, but will allow first time investors to start with $50,000 if needed to get them a feel for the industry and the returns.
While every project is unique, we have a target of 16-24% IRR for our investors, with a 2.5-3.5X equity multiple over the investment hold period. You benefit from quarterly cash distributions from hotel operations, appreciation in the hotel asset, and pass-through tax advantages.
The typical hold period is five years from placement of investment or three years from hotel opening, whichever is sooner . We believe this allows sufficient time to stabilize the asset and maximize investor returns upon exit.
